For Age Group 13 to 17 Years:
The initial dosage of this medication is 10 mg orally once every day.
Usual Pediatric Dose of Adderall for Narcolepsy:
IR: For Age Group 6 to 11 Years:
The initial dosage of this medication is 5 mg orally every day in divided doses.
For Age Group 12 Years and Older:
The initial dosage of this medication is 10 mg orally every day in divided doses.
Missed Dosage Management
Take the forgotten medication dosage as soon as you recognize it, but not late in the day. You should skip the missed one if it is almost evening. Do not consume extra medicine to make up for the missed dose.
Seek emergency remedial attention or call the Poison Help line number at 1-800-222-1222. An overdose of Adderall could be dangerous.
Overdose signs may include rapid breathing, confusion, hallucinations, panic, restlessness, tremor, muscle cramps, aggressiveness, muscle pain or weakness, and dark-colored urine.
